Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities

Advised on the western Porirua public housing partnership with Ngāti Toa for Ngāti Toa’s new community housing provider, Te Āhuru Mōwai, to manage properties and tenancies for over 900 state homes.

Wellington City Council housing projects

Advising on the establishment of Te Toi Mahana (community housing provider) and the long term leasing and operating arrangements for its social housing portfolio comprising nearly 1,800 properties and approximately 3,000 tenants and the Council’s Te Kāinga affordable housing pilot programme.

Kāinga Ora Infrastructure Acceleration Fund

Assisting on the creation and implementation of the NZ$1bn infrastructure fund to enable and deliver housing outcomes across Aotearoa.

Ministry of Housing and Urban Development

Advised on its model form public housing template contract framework and the procurement of public housing and transitional housing in New Zealand.

Kawarau Village, Queenstown development

Acted on all aspects of the development, including negotiating the hotel management arrangements with Hilton International, the sell down of apartments and Unit Titles Act matters and, most recently, on the sale of the development to an international investor.

Ministry for Pacific Peoples 300 affordable homes

Assisted with the funding arrangements for Central Pacific Collective to establish the Pasefika Housing Trust which will develop 300 affordable, multi-generational homes.

Tāmaki Redevelopment Company / Tāmaki Regeneration

Advised on the procurements for the redevelopment of social housing in Tāmaki into new mixed tenure housing, which included a proposed long term ground lease structure.

Tauhara North No.2 Trust

Advised on structuring the forward purchase and 'turnkey' development of land at Hamlin Road, Mount Wellington, Auckland, for the creation of residential apartments.
