Ruth Keats
Senior Associate, WellingtonRuth is a specialist commercial and technology lawyer. She advises on all manner of procurement and commercial contracts, with a particular focus on technology, infrastructure, public sector contracting and procurement.
She has advised on many of the most significant technology procurement projects undertaken by the Government in recent years, including projects for the implementation of critical digital infrastructure and novel technology. She is a trusted adviser to clients across Government and the private sector, and regularly assists her clients with navigating the complexities of technology procurement and outsourcing projects.
Prior to working in private practice, Ruth worked for several years as an in-house commercial lawyer at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, giving her an understanding of what is required to deliver fit-for-purpose legal advice to Government agencies.
