Ruth Keats

Ruth is a specialist commercial lawyer with over 10 years’ experience in technology, privacy, infrastructure, major projects, and public sector contracting and procurement. She is known for her pragmatic approach, exceptional client service, strong execution skills, and solutions-focused mindset.

Ruth has advised on many of the most significant procurement projects undertaken by the government in recent years, spanning technology and digital systems, critical infrastructure (including Public Private Partnerships), and complex outsourcing arrangements.

Prior to working in private practice, Ruth worked for several years as an in-house commercial lawyer at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, giving her a deep knowledge of government and an understanding of what is required to deliver fit-for-purpose legal advice to government agencies.
