Rebekah Te Rito

Rebekah specialises in environment and planning law, with experience advising on major infrastructure projects and environmental reform.

Rebekah's experience includes advising clients on long-term transport designations, supporting iwi through legislative reforms and guiding clients through complex land rezoning, water and energy projects. She has experience in environmental due diligence for major commercial and property transactions and has represented clients in proceedings before local councils and the Environment Court.

She is actively involved in the legal community, serving as the National Young Resource Management Law Association (RMLA) representative and leads the national RMLA mooting competition. She also organises an annual hui for iwi and hapū to connect and share mātauranga and volunteers with initiatives such as Inspiring and Future and Mothers Project, reflecting her dedication to both the legal profession and wider community.
