Sean is an experienced associate in the projects and real estate team, specialising in commercial property transactions. He is driven to deliver practical advice and achieve excellent outcomes for clients.

Sean advises on legal matters for a diverse client base across the public and private sectors, including government entities, listed companies, non-for-profits and iwi organisations.

He has extensive experience in property acquisitions and disposals, leasing and development, housing programmes and subdivisions, also providing due diligence support.

Sean also regularly advises banks and non-bank lenders on the property aspects of real estate finance transactions.

Advised Wellington City Council on a range of strategically important and transformative projects across Wellington City, and advising on a number of Council’s property BAU matters, including leasing, development and disposals.

Landmark Dividend

Advised Landmark Dividend, a global infrastructure investor, on its pathfinder project into New Zealand.

Taupō District Council

Advised Taupō District Council on various property and development matters, including its East Urban Lands residential housing development.

National Infrastructure Funding and Financing

Advised NIFF on property financing due diligence aspects of the Te Awa Lakes Project, in Hamilton, and on property registration aspects of its implementation of the development and infrastructure funding model at the significant Milldale development, north of Auckland.

Advised on its development and leasing of the nationally significant Ruakura Inland Port / Ruakura Superhub.
