Launch of Netflix
Advised Netflix on the launch of its internet entertainment streaming service into New Zealand.

WhaleOil interim injunction application
Acted for the publisher of the New Zealand Herald newspaper and website in opposing interim injunction proceedings brought by Cameron Slater which sought to restrain media publication of material sourced by a hacker from the WhaleOil website. This was very high profile and important litigation of significant public interest during the lead-up to the 2014 general election.
