Advising Contact Energy on its proposed NZ$2.3bn (enterprise value) acquisition of NZX-listed Manawa Energy by way of scheme of arrangement. 

Advised on New Zealand aspects of its merger with Sigma Healthcare to establish a listed pharmaceutical group with a market capitalisation of approximately A$34bn.

Advised the consortium of BGH Capital and Sixth Street on their NZ$1.5bn acquisition of NZX- and ASX-listed Pushpay Holdings by way of scheme of arrangement. 

Advised a large offshore investment trust on its bid for the New Zealand and Australian assets of the Vector metering business, which ultimately sold for approximately NZ$2.5bn, and associated joint venture arrangements. 

Advised on its proposed establishment and sale of its passive mobile tower business for NZ$1.7bn to funds managed or advised by InfraRed Capital Partners (on behalf of HICL Infrastructure plc) and Northleaf Capital Partners, alongside a reinvestment by Infratil.

Advised Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation on New Zealand aspects of its A$4.13bn purchase of the global asset management business of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Colonial First State Global Asset Management, now known as First Sentier). 

Advising BGH Capital / CyberCX on the acquisition and amalgamation of numerous New Zealand cybersecurity companies.

Advising New Zealand Oil & Gas on its response to competing partial takeover offers from Zeta Energy and O.G. Oil & Gas, followed by a subsequent court approved scheme of arrangement by OGOG to acquire the remaining shares.
