Advised Jarden Group on regulatory aspects and commercial contracts on its agreement with National Australia Bank to combine their New Zealand asset management and wealth advice businesses into a newly formed entity, FirstCape.  

Advised Craigs Investment Partners on the sale of its QuayStreet funds management business to Smartshares (a division of NZX), including advising on product support and distribution arrangements and regulatory disclosure obligations.

Advised NGCC and Crown Infrastructure Partners on the $1.4bn digital infrastructure procurement of The Public Safety Network, including a suite of major contracts for the procurement of a critical public safety communications network for New Zealand's emergency services agencies.

Advised a listed entity in the financial services sector on its cloud transformation project, including its procurement of SaaS solutions, software licensing agreements and overall contractual frameworks.

Advised a major retailer on its preparations for the opening of its first outlet in the New Zealand market, including its logistics arrangements and product supply agreements.

Advised Charter Schools Agency on the design and preparation of the model Charter School Agreement and Performance Management Plan.  This involved detailed engagement with the Agency to develop a ‘user-friendly’ model contract, focussing on outcomes, performance measurement, monitoring and incentives/consequences.

Advised Stride Property Group on the establishment and 2024 restructure of Industre Property, an industrial property fund formed through a joint venture with an investment vehicle (advised by JP Morgan Asset Management) for international institutional investors.
