Advised the New Zealand Government Vaccine Strategy Task Force on advance purchase agreements to secure a portfolio of Covid-19 vaccines for New Zealand, Niue, Tokelau and the Cook Islands.

Successfully representing the Electricity Authority in a High Court judicial review, and subsequent appeal, of its decision to publish guidelines for a new Transmission Pricing Methodology – the mechanism by which Transpower, as owner of the electricity grid, recovers costs from transmission customers.

Advised on various matters, including proceedings in the Auckland High Court against Janssen-Cilag Pty regarding the supply of Zytiga (a treatment for prostate cancer) and the recent Coronial inquiry regarding lamotrigine (a treatment for epilepsy).

Acted for the Commerce Commission in its proceedings against Wilson Parking New Zealand.

Advised the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority on its regulatory framework and wider legislation applicable to Crown entities.

Advised tertiary education providers on options for establishing new entities.

Advised on various matters, including regarding its decision-making processes on potential exposure to public law claims in New Zealand.

Acted for NZX Ltd as part of litigation against Ralec Commodities, both during interlocutory applications and for the main proceeding which took place over 9 weeks from May to July 2016.

Advised the Department of Corrections on contractual matters arising out of public-private partnerships.
