Sophie is the head of Bell Gully's market-leading litigation and dispute resolution practice, and is a member of Bell Gully's Board. She is recognised as a leading lawyer for commercial disputes, class actions, and banking and finance related litigation. 

Clients value her strategic focus, pragmatism, intellect and clear communication style.

Sophie has acted as defence counsel in a number of high-profile class action proceedings and publishes and speaks regularly in this area. She also acts in a range of other commercial disputes, and regularly advises clients facing regulatory investigations and proceedings, including by the Commerce Commission, the Financial Markets Authority and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand/NZICA.
