We aim for excellence and our people are the foundation for our continued success.
About the role
Our Auckland litigation team is looking to hire graduates for 2023. Our graduate programme begins in late January 2023, and includes the completion of your IPLS professional studies course, as well as our highly-regarded Next Programme (our in-house programme to support the career development of graduates and junior lawyers).
Our commercial litigation practice encompasses a broad range of fields, including commercial and contract disputes, financial crime and regulation, competition law, class actions, construction law, insolvency, and insurance work.
We believe that our depth of experience, strong advocacy skills, and strategic commercial judgement make us New Zealand's leading litigation practice. As a graduate you'll work with some of the brightest legal and business minds in the country, and work with us on some of the most important and challenging cases and regulatory investigations in New Zealand.
Part of being the best is providing a supportive team environment where people feel they can give their best. We are proud of our down to earth, inclusive style where everybody is an important and valued part of the team.
If you are completing your law degree this year, have strong academics, excellent written and analytical skills, and the motivation to deliver high quality legal services to our clients, please get in touch.
Culture and benefits
In addition to a strong team culture, we offer a range of benefits and initiatives to help our people maintain a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle. This includes:
- professional development opportunities;
- community support programmes;
- flexible work practices, plus a comprehensive health and wellbeing programme;
- an annual subsidy for health insurance and a range of wellbeing activities; and
- sports teams, an annual ball, regular team events and department weekends away.
Applications close Wednesday 17 August. We are only accepting applications from direct candidates (applications from recruitment agencies or consultants will not be accepted). Please email email@example.com if you would like to discuss anything further.
We continuously work hard to ensure our workplace is inclusive, and trust that different experiences, perspectives, and values work together to achieve a better outcome. As such, this position is open to anyone with the qualifying skill set.
