Monday 21 March 2016

Bell Gully partner Simon Watt is again the only New Zealand climate change expert recognised in international climate change rankings in the 2016 edition of the prestigious Chambers Global directory.  He is one of only 23 lawyers ranked globally in this area of expertise.

Sources contacted through Chambers’ extensive international research note Simon "provides clarity and his advice is decisive, pragmatic and insightful", while previous editions have described him as "one of the most well-versed lawyers in this area in Australasia". Simon has been ranked by Chambers for his climate change work since 2008.

Simon has experience advising clients from both the public and private sectors on a range of climate change matters, including carbon trading, forestry and regulatory issues. He is regularly asked to comment on climate change issues in national media, and has had leading roles in regional climate change conferences.
