Bell Gully wins at New Zealand Law Awards

Last night Bell Gully won two deal of the year awards and our Chairman, Roger Partridge was winner of the Managing Partner of the Year.

The Consumer, Media and Tech Deal of the Year was awarded to the MediaWorks sale and debt restructure team and the Capital Markets Deal of the Year to the team that successfully managed the IPO of Meridian Energy with The New Zealand Treasury.

The firm would like to congratulate all of our clients who picked up awards on the night including: Charles Bolt, Fletcher Building and Dave Whiteridge, New Zealand Transport Agency, who were joint winners of the In-house Lawyer of the Year, and the New Zealand Treasury legal team who won In-House Team of the Year.

Ralph Simpson, retiring partner, also won the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for services to the legal industry spanning the last three decades.
