Bell Gully lawyers lead independent international rankings

A leading international legal guide has given Bell Gully its highest ranking in all four of the practice areas the guide researches in New Zealand.

Bell Gully lawyers also achieved the largest number of "leading lawyer" rankings among the New Zealand firms.

The 2013 IFLR1000 Guide to the World's Leading Financial Law Firms ranks lawyers based on the recommendations of in-house counsel at the world's most prominent financial institutions and companies, along with the views of their legal peers.

"We see this as a vote of confidence from our clients," said Bell Gully Chairman Roger Partridge. "They value our commitment to teamwork, high service standards and successful outcomes, and it is when we deliver on all these fronts that we see client satisfaction reflected in legal research of this nature."

The IFLR1000 gave Bell Gully Tier 1 rankings for Banking & Project Finance, Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions and Restructuring & Insolvency.
