Bell Gully Chairman Roger Partridge has been elected as new chair of the New Zealand Business Roundtable, New Zealand's leading public policy think tank.
Roger Partridge has been a member of the Business Roundtable since 2008. He replaces Rob McLeod as chair. He joins Business Roundtable vice-chairs, Bill Day, Seaworks, Bill Gallagher, Gallagher Group, and Nick Calavrias, representing alumni.
Members of the Business Roundtable are chief executives of many of New Zealand's major organisations operating in many business sectors.
Roger Partridge said he "is delighted to accept the position and looks forward to contributing to the organisation's mission of lifting productivity and raising standards of living for all New Zealanders through encouraging improvements in public policies."
Roger Partridge was appointed Chairman of Bell Gully in 2007. Prior to that he headed the firm's litigation department. He has been a partner in the firm since 1992.
