Bell Gully wins Law Firm of the Year title for fourth straight year

Bell Gully has been named New Zealand Law Firm of the Year 2009 in the Who's Who Legal Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

London-based Who's Who Legal identifies leading firms in 50 countries and five US states annually, based on nominations and research among clients and private practice counsel.

Who's Who Legal editor in chief Callum Campbell says Bell Gully is now in a select band of firms to have won country titles every year since the awards' inception.

"In a highly competitive field, receiving the Who's Who Legal Law Firm of the Year for New Zealand for the fourth time is an outstanding achievement.

"The consistently positive feedback we received recognises its continuing and exceptional individual and collective talent in this jurisdiction, and we have no hesitation in once again declaring Bell Gully the leading firm in the country."

Who's Who Legal lists leading practitioners in each field based on the findings of an independent six-month research process. Bell Gully partners received sufficient nominations from clients and peers to be listed 13 times across nine practice areas in the publication. The firm had more practitioners included than any other firm in the country.
