Free trade with China: a summary of what's ahead

With the Free Trade Agreement now signed by New Zealand and China, the focus has moved to enacting the changes it will bring.

Bell Gully has produced a guide summarising key elements of the agreement, including tariff reductions, environmental cooperation and changes to labour, investment, immigration and customs policies.

It is expected to come into force on 1 October 2008, subject to completion of parliamentary processes.

This guide is a summary. Click here to view a copy of the guide.
