Bell Gully has promoted six outstanding lawyers to senior roles in the firm from 1 January.
Auckland-based corporate lawyer Anna Buchly is the firm's newest partner. Anna has practised law for a decade in New Zealand, Sydney and Dubai, returning from overseas to join Bell Gully in 2005. She specialises in acquisitions and disposals, including takeovers, and in stock exchange listings and compliance.
Five lawyers have been promoted to the role of senior associate. All are Auckland-based, apart from Kate Radka in the firm's Wellington office. They are:
Stuart Evans, who specialises in banking and finance and has particular experience in property, construction and asset financing.
Tania Goatley, a commercial litigator with particular expertise in media and advertising law, intellectual property and food and wine law.
Mathew McKay, a tax specialist advising New Zealand and offshore clients on all aspects of New Zealand tax law.
Kate Radka, a commercial lawyer specialising in climate change, procurement, health and trade marks.
Daniel Vizor, a commercial litigator with particular expertise in insolvency issues, regularly acting for creditors, receivers and liquidators.
