Bell Gully has been named IFLR New Zealand National Law Firm of the Year for the third consecutive year.
Firm Chairman David Simcock will receive the award at the IFLR Asian Awards 2006 ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong on 15 March.
It is the third year in a row, and the fourth time in five years, that Bell Gully has received the prestigious award from respected global legal publisher International Financial Law Review.
The annual IFLR awards recognise the leading legal advisers in international corporate and financial transactions over the past year.
Bell Gully Chief Executive Stephen Macliver says: "It is hugely rewarding once again to receive the accolade of New Zealand Law Firm of the Year and is a testament to the firm, the stand out quality of our people and the calibre of work undertaken year after year.
"This represents further independent recognition that Bell Gully continues to lead the way in New Zealand, advising on some of the most significant and challenging transactions undertaken in the country and further afield last year.
"We are, however, ever mindful that we must be unswerving in our focus on always looking after the interests of our clients so that Bell Gully continues to be their firm of choice and entrusted with the significant transactions that result in our standing out and being recognised as the market leader in New Zealand."
