Simon is a litigator with international experience in a wide range of commercial disputes.

Simon acts for domestic and international corporations in litigation proceedings in New Zealand. Simon's primary expertise is in dispute resolution in the projects and energy sectors, where he has acted in a number of matters both in New Zealand and internationally.

Simon began his career with Bell Gully in 2005. After taking up a Fulbright Scholarship and completing an LLM at Columbia University in New York in 2007, he worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris in its international arbitration department, where he represented sovereign states and international corporations in commercial and investment disputes.

Simon returned to Bell Gully in 2012.
