Jayne specialises in corporate and commercial law, advising on significant corporate transactions and commercial matters.
She works on acquisitions and dispositions of business, corporate restructurings, equity transactions and joint ventures.
Jayne has significant project management experience, managing a variety of complex and major transactions. She has forged a strong relationship advising, originally, Fletcher Challenge and its sector companies and now, the companies which have emerged with the separation of Fletcher Challenge - principally Fletcher Building.
Jayne's background also includes working in the firm's property and finance teams and while working in Canada she was involved in corporate, securities and commercial financing matters.
Jayne is praised for her "desire and ability to understand the broader commercial issues" by Asia Pacific Legal 500 2005/2006.
Outside her work for clients, Jayne volunteers her time and expertise to help not-for-profit organisations, including the Breast Cancer Cure Research Trust, of which she is a trustee, Parents Inc. and Business Mentors New Zealand.
