Laura is a corporate lawyer with a particular focus on mergers & acquisitions, company restructurings, joint ventures and commercial contracts.
She advises on acquisitions and disposals, undertakes and reports on due diligence projects, and negotiates sale and purchase agreements, transitional service arrangements and a broad range of commercial contracts.
Laura began her legal career in New Zealand before living in London where she worked at leading London firm Macfarlanes for five years. In 2011 she moved to Attride-Stirling & Woloniecki in Bermuda before joining Bell Gully in 2012.
Both in New Zealand and London Laura has advised on a number of significant acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and commercial contracts. During her time in London, Laura was also seconded to Virgin Management Limited where she advised Virgin’s international group of companies. In Bermuda, Laura advised on international transactions and group structures involving off-shore entities.
