Jarrod Walker
Jarrod advises New Zealand and offshore clients on all aspects of New Zealand tax law.
His areas of focus include financing structures, investment entities and corporate taxation.
Jarrod's tax knowledge is complemented by extensive domestic and international experience as a banking and finance lawyer, including eight years at leading law firms Clifford Chance and Allen & Overy, in Amsterdam, Hong Kong and London.
He has acted for leading global financial institutions including ABN AMRO, ING, Barclays, Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase, and multinational corporates, on a range of financing transactions. He gained significant experience in structured financing transactions, leveraged financing, aircraft financing, general syndicated and bilateral lending, restructurings, securitisation structures and derivative products.
In addition to his significant offshore experience, Jarrod has also worked for another New Zealand law firm in tax and banking.
