Jenny specialises in commercial litigation and competition law.
She advises on all aspects of competition law, including representing clients in Commerce Commission investigations, criminal prosecutions and civil proceedings. She has advised in some of New Zealand's largest competition law cases. Jenny also advises on the application of merger control including obtaining merger clearances from the Commerce Commission.
Jenny works with businesses affected by regulatory authorities, assisting with submissions on regulatory proposals, advising on the application of the sector-specific regulation and advising on public law obligations.
Jenny also assists clients in commercial disputes arising in a range of areas including contract, intellectual property, consumer law and media law. She regularly represents clients in negotiations related to disputes and in court and arbitration proceedings.
Jenny spent three years working in the competition and regulatory team at international law firm Norton Rose in London before rejoining Bell Gully in 2004.
