Garry Downs
Garry has over 25 years' commercial law experience. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, company restructurings, joint ventures, major infrastructure projects and the provision of business law advice including corporate governance.
Garry has a special interest in the electricity sector and has been an active advisor in this area over 15 years.
Chambers Asia Pacific 2013 ranks Garry as a leading lawyer in corporate and energy and natural resources, stating that clients highlight his "excellent support and commitment" and describe him as "a great listener who not only knows his stuff, but also knows and understands our business". In the 2012 edition Garry is ranked as a leading individual and "singled out for his outstanding commitment to clients in the energy sector, delivering work that is 'always well set out and explained'."
