Fiona is a commercial litigator, working with clients to resolve disputes through mediation, negotiation, litigation and arbitration.

Fiona has experience across a number of industries, including the natural resources sector, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, insurance and the finance sector.

She rejoined Bell Gully in September 2008 after five years in London at Herbert Smith LLP, where she worked in a general commercial litigation team, alongside the arbitration and intellectual property groups. She also has experience gained from time spent in Herbert Smith's Hong Kong office.

Fiona completed a Master of Laws at Harvard in 2002 and spent a year working as a legal researcher at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague.

Fiona joined the Board of Transparency International (New Zealand), a non-profit organisation which is part of the larger Transparency International civil society organisation focussed on anti-corruption, in November 2010.
