Davida specialises in assisting clients with property transactions and developments.

She has considerable expertise in large-scale commercial property acquisitions and sales and of advising clients on all stages of property developments, from contract negotiation and planning to leasing issues.

Davida moved to New Zealand and joined Bell Gully in 2004, after over four years working on commercial property projects with international law firm Hammonds.

Acquisition of Remarkables Shopping Centre, Queenstown, on behalf of Diversified NZ Property Fund. The 3ha multi-tenanted retail, office and cafes shopping centre includes tenants Noel Leeming and Dick Smith Electronics and ongoing development land.

Kumutoto building
Acquisition of construction project to build Meridian Energy's new headquarters on the Wellington waterfront. Negotiation of ground lease and development agreements and leases with anchor tenants, construction of four-storey mixed use (offices/retail/café) landmark project and achievement of first NZ Green 5 star design rating for a completed building.

Global Forest Partners
Advised on the 75,000ha forestry acquisition on behalf of Global Forest Partners.

Carter Holt Harvey
Advising New Zealand's then largest forest owner, on the sale of its forestry business comprising 260,000 ha of freehold/non-freehold land, to US-based forestry manager Hancock Natural Resource Group Inc., including devising strategies for property specific aspects such as subdivision, buy-back options, access, the creation of Crown sub-rights and co-ordinating complex pre-sale restructuring.
