Colleen is a trade mark specialist and advises on related intellectual property law.

She has extensive experience advising clients on trade mark and brand protection, the Fair Trading Act and passing off, copyright, and general intellectual property issues.

Before joining Bell Gully, Colleen spent 17 years with a large specialist intellectual property firm, nine of these as partner.

Chambers Asia Pacific 2013 ranks Colleen as a leading IP lawyer and describes her as "a trade mark specialist" who "is characterised as 'a pragmatic, extremely efficient operator who provides exceptional service.'" Previous editions state "she is well respected by peers for her specialist knowledge on copyright, trade marks and branding strategies" and that "commentators note her high-quality approach and advice." She is also listed as an expert in the Legal Media Group's Trade Mark Law Practitioners Expert Guide.
