Colleen is a trade mark specialist and advises on related intellectual property law.

She has extensive experience advising clients on trade mark and brand protection, the Fair Trading Act and passing off, copyright, and general intellectual property issues.

Before joining Bell Gully, Colleen spent 17 years with a large specialist intellectual property firm, nine of these as partner.

Chambers Global 2009 recognises Colleen as a trade mark and brand protection specialist, describing her as a "real expert with a great pedigree". Colleen is also commended for her advice on both registrations and oppositions. She is listed as an expert in the Legal Media Group's Trade Mark Law Practitioners Expert Guide and clients interviewed by Asia Pacific Legal 500 2009/2010 state that she is "particularly good".
