Colleen is a trade mark specialist and advises on related intellectual property law.

She has extensive experience advising clients on trade mark and brand protection, the Fair Trading Act and passing off, copyright, and general intellectual property issues.

Before joining Bell Gully, Colleen spent 17 years with a large specialist intellectual property firm, nine of these as partner.

Chambers Global 2011 ranks Colleen as a leading IP lawyer, stating that "she is well respected by peers for her specialist knowledge on copyright, trade marks and branding strategies." In the 2010 edition "commentators note her high-quality approach and advice." Colleen is also commended for her advice on both registrations and oppositions. She is listed as an expert in the Legal Media Group's Trade Mark Law Practitioners Expert Guide.
