Brendan specialises in commercial litigation and has helped clients in a number of different sectors resolve contentious matters.

His experience includes contract and other disputes in the construction, energy, financial and insurance sectors. He has also acted for clients on public and administrative law matters, media issues such as defamation or contempt, copyright, trademark and licensing disputes, and IT and insolvency matters.

Brendan has appeared as counsel in civil and criminal proceedings in the District Court, the High Court in New Zealand and London, and the Court of Appeal. He also acts and appears for clients involved in mediations and local and international arbitrations.
