Air New Zealand Wine Awards

The Air New Zealand Wine Awards are the premier wine competition in New Zealand. Organised by by New Zealand Winegrowers, it is the industry's official wine awards and aims to promote excellence in winemaking for the benefit of New Zealand winemakers and wine drinkers. Bell Gully has advised New Zealand's wine industry since its earliest days and supported the New Zealand wine awards for over 15 years. We are pleased to sponsor the Bell Gully Champion Sustainable Wine award.

Business Mentors New Zealand

Business Mentors New Zealand provides a free national mentor network to New Zealand companies which have been in business for at least a year and with less than 25 employees. They are matched with mentors to help them grow and develop further. Bell Gully is a national partner to Business Mentors.

CLANZ

Bell Gully has sponsored CLANZ - the Corporate Lawyers Association of New Zealand - since 2001 in recognition of the association's valuable support for the in-house profession. Our support ranges from practical, administrative assistance to the sponsorship of keynote events such as the annual CLANZ conference, the CLANZ-Bell Gully Scholarship and Prize and free seminars and workshops for CLANZ members.

Excelerator: NZ Leadership Institute, University of Auckland

Bell Gully is a founding sponsor of Excelerator, the New Zealand Leadership Institute, established by the University of Auckland in 2004. The Institute has been established in order to meet New Zealand's need for a greater number of more effective leaders, through development programmes, events, networking, awards and research.

Incubators New Zealand

Established in 2004, Incubators New Zealand is the umbrella association for the country's 15 business incubators. These "business nurseries" play host to around 140 start-up companies with high-growth potential in all fields, from hi-tech and manufacturing to fashion and creativity.

Companies that go through the incubation process have a much higher rate of success. With incubation, a venture's chances of raising capital and finding strategic partners are greatly enhanced. With Bell Gully's record of working with growth companies, their advisers and potential investors, support for Incubators New Zealand was a natural partnership for us.

Keystone New Zealand Property Education Trust

Formerly known as The Graeme Bringans Property Education Trust, the Keystone Trust provides scholarships in property education to ensure that potential leaders of the industry are given practical opportunities to build successful careers in property through study and experience. Our support includes a student scholarship.

New Zealand Council for Infrastructure Development

Bell Gully is a member of the council, the authority at the forefront of New Zealand's infrastructure debate. It aims to raise awareness of the importance of infrastructure in underpinning the community's quality of life and in economic and social growth.

New Zealand Institute

The Institute is a privately funded think-tank, committed to generating new and creative debate, ideas and solutions that contribute to building a better and more prosperous New Zealand for all New Zealanders.

The Institute's members are leaders in business, education, and community service. It produces independent research and practical solutions designed to address key issues in the country's development.

Property Council

Bell Gully is a principal sponsor of the New Zealand Property Council, a not-for-profit organisation that represents New Zealand's commercial, industrial, retail, property funds and multi-unit residential property owners.

The council has over 500 member companies and holds over 50 events nationwide each year. Membership ranges from leading institutional investors, pension funds, property trusts and financial organisations to private investors and developers. Asset managers, the professions and trade suppliers actively participate in the association.

VIP programme

VIP (Very Important Peers) is Bell Gully's innovative networking programme designed to introduce essential business skills to young solicitors.
