Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA)
Bell Gully provides strategic advice to ARTA on a range of infrastructure and land transport matters. More recently we have acted for ARTA at hearings under the Local Government (Auckland) Amendment Act and are currently advising on the proposed new Bayswater ferry terminal.
Chelsea Estate redevelopment
Bell Gully has been advising the New Zealand Sugar Company for over a decade on the comprehensive re-zoning of 45 hectares of prime land in Auckland's North Shore City. This project is New Zealand's first instance of scheduled industrial land also having a heritage value. The length of the project reflects the complexities in balancing the public expectations of heritage land with the continued industrial use of the land.

Bell Gully is the long-term legal advisor to NZ Winegrowers. We continue to work the representative body of winemakers and grape growers on many strategic and operational resource management and environment issues.
Hastings District Council
We advised the council on joint venture arrangements in the creation of a mega centre in Hastings. This involves setting reference and appeals involving the establishment of supermarkets in large format retail zones.
Tainui Group Holdings
We advised Tainui Group on resource consent strategy for its staged development of "The Base" retail centre in Te Rapa, Hamilton.
